t3 Rural Development Beginnings
Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2019 by Dave and Brenda Kirk of Council Grove to help support area youth and continue to promote the Flint Hills and Rural America. The business t3 Wireless, Inc.
(small “t” symbolizing faith-based principles and ground rules) was founded in the Flint Hills and built on the foundation of providing quality broadband services all across the country to better rural America. t3 is just another example of how most any business can be developed and managed from rural America with creative thought and communication. USD 417 Recipients of this scholarship will show an appreciation of rural America and understanding of how they can help impact its future.
Guidelines
t3 Rural Development Award
Annual Scholarship managed and funded through the Council Grove Area Foundation (CGAF intended to reward area students who represent the ideals, character, and enthusiasm of our region and show an understanding of the importance of Rural America and how they can impact it in the future. Recipient does not necessarily need to be pursuing a career where they will live in Rural America, however they must demonstrate their understanding of why Rural America and our region are important, and the values associated with it.
Requirements
USD 417 graduating student going to any Kansas 2 or 4 yr. college.
Must have 3.0 GPA
Provide 2 letters of recommendations from USD 417 current teachers. You'll need to request that teachers submit their recommendations using the link below.
